It's been a month since S had her Swig and Swap Party and I came home with a ton of new-to-me shirts, skirts and sweaters. And with all these new clothes, you'd think it would be a breeze getting ready in the morning. But here's the thing... I'm kind of prone to fashion meltdowns. It usually happens in the morning as I'm getting ready for work. I've got this problem where I try on a bunch of different combinations of clothes before settling on something I've worn hundreds of times before. Is this just me? I miss living with S because she'd put together the cutest outfits. If you're anything like me or just need some winter fashion inspiration, you should check out Kendi Everyday.
While there are tons of fashion blogs out there, Kendi's blog is my go-to for a few reasons. First of all, she's thrifty. She shops at Target and T.J. Maxx and then labels her photos so you can see exactly where each piece came from and recreate the look yourself. And who doesn't love looking good for cheap?
I also love her blog because she puts together outfits I would never think of myself. I mean, just look at how she rocks everything from leather pants to a bowtie.
And last, but not least, she remixes her pieces in different ways to get maximum mileage out of her clothes. She's known for her 30 for 30 Remix Closet Challenge where she takes 30 items from her closet and remixed them into 30 different outfits. You can click here to see all her seasonal 30 x 30 challenges and get some new ideas for yourself.
And on that note, here are my favorite looks for winter. I hope this helps the next time you're staring at a closet full of clothes but feel like you've got nothing to wear.
